World Conqueror 2 MOD APK v1.3.12

The purpose of World Conqueror 2 is clear. The title says it all. The action of the campaign is divided into numerous small conflicts rather than entire global spheres. As an ally, the player must first face the Nazi invasion of Russia, followed by increasingly gruesome scenarios.

Game play is tough. Players start each skirmish with a fixed (and pre-positioned) number of troops, but additional units can be purchased and deployed based on available cash. Each round, players can take out a bank loan to cover the costs of their private little war. Many of the purchased units are ready for immediate combat. The immediacy of this approach helps the game progress quickly.

The tutorial built into the game is inadequate and needs translation. The tutorial, at best, provides a brief overview of the game (such as what the on-screen buttons do). Bend and lose more than a few fights along the way. That’s what a good general needs. The English translation isn’t the worst I’ve ever seen, but it’s often clumsy, has incorrect syntax, and has obscure phrasing patterns that obscure important information.

The visuals feature a subdued colour palette and are easily distinguishable. The battle animations are a nice (but more gritty and realistic) homage to Advance Wars. If you grasp the nuances of the game, you can enjoy playing with easy-to-understand operations.
